Coaches

Coaches of the Cadets, intermediate and junior teams are the backbone of the club. This job is not always easy but it is hugely rewarding. Coaches get to create a team culture, they help not just their players skills, but also become an important adult figure in the lives of those they coach. They get to set standards, team culture and they also help their players become better netballers. Yes it is a commitment but it's a great one!

West Pymble Netball Club preference is for a parent of a player in a team (except for the top team of each grade). If a coach cannot be found West Pymble Netball Club will pay for a coach, however this is expensive and increases the costs of registration for everyone. 

A coach is responsible for:

• A weekly training session

• Attending and coaching the game

• Fair player placement throughout the season (finals offer more options for on court time)

• Welfare of the players
